What is Sustainable Finance Week Ireland (SFWI)?
Sustainable Finance Week Ireland is an annual event focused on advancing sustainable finance and ESG practices within various sectors. It brings together professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss innovative solutions and foster collaboration for a more sustainable financial future.
When and where will the event take place?
Sustainable Finance Week Ireland 2024 will be held from 25/11/2024 to 29/11/2024. The event will take place both in person at venues across Dublin, and online for remote participants.
Who can attend SFWI?
The event is open to professionals working in finance, policy, and sustainability sectors, as well as anyone with an interest in sustainable finance and ESG practices. Both in-person and virtual participation options are available.
How can I register for the event?
You can register for SFWI through our official event website. Complete the online registration form, where you’ll have the option to choose the specific events you wish to attend.

What is the cost to attend SFWI?
The event is completely free to attend.
I received feedback last year that the registration form was too long. Has this been addressed?
Yes, based on feedback from last year, we have significantly reduced the length of the registration form. We hope this streamlined version will make the process quicker and easier for attendees to complete.
What information do I need to provide when registering?
The registration form will ask for your personal details (such as name, email, and phone number), company information, and a few additional questions related to your professional background. All required fields will be clearly marked.

The details you provide during registration will only be used for the purposes of administering the event and communicating with you about SFWI-related activities. ATTENDING THE EVENT
Will there be virtual attendance options for SFWI 2024?
Yes, there will be virtual attendance options available for selected sessions for participants who are unable to attend in person. You can register for virtual attendance through the same registration form on the event website.
How will I access virtual sessions?
Most sessions will be in-person only, with some available for virtual attendance. For those virtual events, a link to access the sessions will be provided after registration, allowing you to join online. Further details will be shared closer to the event.
Are there any networking opportunities?
Yes, SFWI offers networking opportunities for in-person attendees.
TRAVEL & ACCOMODATION
Where is the in-person event taking place?
The in-person events for SFWI 2024 will take place at a range of sites but all in Dublin, Ireland. Full address and travel directions will be provided upon registration.
Are there hotel recommendations for out-of-town attendees?
No. Out of town attendees will have to make their own arrangements.

How is SFWI making the event sustainable?
SFWI is committed to sustainability through several initiatives. We use eco-friendly web hosting with a certified Green Data Centre and have optimised the website design for minimal data usage and fast loading times. Our communications are digital-first, reducing the need for printed materials and minimising waste. We also donate any leftover food from the event to local food bank initiatives. Additionally, we work with sponsors and partners who share our commitment to sustainable finance and environmentally friendly practices.
